Work While You Study

  • Students can work up to 20 hours/week on campus during semesters

  • OPT (Optional Practical Training) allows 12 months of work after graduation

  • STEM OPT Extension gives an additional 24 months for eligible STEM graduates

Admission Requirements

  • Academic transcripts with 60–70% minimum (varies by university)

  • English proficiency: IELTS (6.0+), TOEFL (80+), or Duolingo (accepted in many universities)

  • GRE/GMAT (required for select Master’s programs)

  • Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Letters of Recommendation (LORs)

  • Valid passport and financial proof for visa


Intakes and Deadlines

  • Fall Intake (August/September) – Main intake with the widest course availability

  • Spring Intake (January) – Secondary intake for many programs

  • Summer Intake (May) – Available in limited institutions

  • Apply 8–12 months before your preferred intake

  • Merit-Based Scholarships offered by most US universities

US Student Visa (F1 Visa) Process

  1. Apply to SEVP-approved US universities and receive an I-20

  2. Pay the SEVIS fee and book a visa appointment

  3. Complete DS-160 application and schedule your interview

  4. Attend the visa interview at the US Embassy/Consulate

  5. Receive your F1 Visa and prepare for departure
